Good morning you lovely souls, it is about 9:30 on a Tuesday morning and I figured what a better way to kick off the new year, than to start waking up early and getting some stuff done. However, I did not do that today… I got up at 8 this morning and started working on some stuff, because I went to bed a little later than I wanted. However tomorrow morning will be my first day of waking up at 4:30 am. It will be a challenge, because even on regular school days, when school starts at 7:25, I’ll push it and sleep in until 7. The reason I do that, is because I want to maximize the amount of sleep that I am getting each night, because that is so vital to your health.
Any who, I’ll tell you my plan of attack, my rules, and what I am expecting.
Step one: I’ll get everything ready the night before and lay out cloths and a premade breakfast.
Step two: I am trying to get in bed earlier than normal; around 9 or 10 at night, because sleep is something I have been working on for a while and I do not want to regress.
Step three: I’ll make a list that I have to get done before school or I’ll make plans so I have to get up and get things done.
1. No technology a half an hour before bed.
2. No caffeine 4 hours before bed.
3. Get up at 4:30, even if you did not sleep as much as you wanted.
EXPECTATIONS: Through these simple rules and things to keep me on track, I will hopefully be able to do it for a full month. I’m hoping this will force me to get better with time management, and get some stuff done in the morning that I otherwise would procrastinate. The first morning I already decided that I am writing out my new years resolutions and then going for a run.

PS: I put in that lovely picture up top, because that is what Utah looks like at the crack of dawn, so it is giving me motivation, but unfortunately, that Is not what Ohio looks like. 😦
